Since 26 years have come and gone
Always wished I could say one more hello
Instead of goodbye
The memories come flooding back
A day doesn't go by that I don't think of you
Watching your family that has grown
When I light a candle for you
As I recite Gods prayers
Silently in his house
Hoping he hears me
Through my tears
Wishing upon a wish
To see your smiling face
